Muebles Villazul7

The calendar marks one month since the entry into force of the legal norms that endorse micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) as new actors in the development of the country's economy.

Puerto Padre, Las Tunas - In Las Tunas many workers of the non-state sector join the starting block for the sake of improvement and local autonomy, and an example of this is the entrepreneurial spirit of Muebles Villazul, the fourth company of this type in the province.
Based in Puerto Padre, Yúnior Pertierra Hernández leads the first MSME in the northern municipality, after several years in search of different opportunities.

"When I checked the website I was very happy to learn that I had been approved. It was the fulfillment of a dream of more than four years. I had previously presented local development work; in addition, as a self-employed person I had signed contracts with other companies," said Pertierra.
Despite the dissimilar challenges imposed by the new path, Muebles Villazul breathes an air of growth, although the process will be gradual. "Initially, we will address three lines of work: mattresses, beds, and box springs, but in the future, we will expand the options. There is a very large expansion, including quilts, cushions, pillows, plastic chairs, upholstery, and synthetic materials", reaffirmed the representative of the medium-sized company.

With legal status, after the official signing this Friday, the organization will start selling the furniture in industrial markets, thanks to a contract with Comercio Interior in the territory, according to Pertierra.

At the same time, the entrepreneurs maintain the maxim of approaching on equal terms the monetary growth, with the social contribution to La Villa de los Molinos.

"After the opening of the country's borders, we have in mind to acquire the necessary machinery for the production of anti-decubitus mattresses and to make the contract with Public Health for their sale in pharmacies. As with the air or water mattresses, there will be a wide range of mattresses and sizes, whether they are bed mattresses, personal mattresses, and others", he added.

In addition to the fact that the people of Puerto Padre will enjoy the benefits of the entity, this step towards sustainability also offers a wide spectrum to the population, by offering up to 90 new jobs.
