Paris.- In a statement, the organization set the objective of "showing that, with its programs and interviews, radio can help listeners understand the news and contribute to causes of general interest such as the right to education and health, gender equality or migrants' integration."
UNESCO invited all radio stations to participate in the event by discussing the differences in their programs, involving the audience, giving voice to voiceless, inspiring listeners to talk about their experiences and promoting participation in a spirit of tolerance and peace.
