Las Tunas.- On the centenary of the birth of the great Cuban documentary filmmaker Santiago Álvarez, a producer from Las Tunas was awarded in the XVII edition of the festival that honor him (Santiago Álvarez in memoriam International Documentary Festival), recently finished in the Heroic City. Her name is Waldina Almaguer Medina, from TunasVisión channel, who with her documentary series "Adolescence, The sword of Damocles" was awarded by the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños.
